Am I the only person who gets bogus .mp3's through kazaa that aren't what they pretend to be?
If I hear another 10second clip looped 40 times or worse still the pop+sqeal of ripping gone wrong I'll go mad.
I'd be v. grateful for any tips to get around this.I use an old version of kazaalite and even match track times to their genuine track times (using the helpful AMG website)...HELP!
Tip 1: don't use Kazaa.
Tip 2: switch your listening habits aka forget the noise pollution from MTV and radio.
Tip 3: nothing's worth to get mad about.
These are fake files planted by the riaa. In an attemrt to make file-sharing so frustrating that we will give up. It's not working.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....search...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz z
Exactly, the RIAA is trying to destroy the network. The problem is Kazaa doesn't use full file hashing.
Fight back and destroy the RIAA, don't buy new music, buy used.
Using an old version of k-lite wont help. Perhaps switch to a newer one with peerguardian built in.
Expand the search results and check that all the bit-rates and file sizes are the same.
I'm not really malicious. I'm a nice guy.

That's right, do not use kazaa... it suc**.
Why? Because:
1. kazaa has a lot of faked files
2. it's very hard to download anything...(alhough file has a lot of sources).
