Hello , i am with a lot of different BT clients really getting some slow DL speeds.
(between 1-4 k/bit) on a shared broadband connection on a school campus. I am not certain of my connection speed as some connection speed testers have very varying results (any reliable that are good?) Anyway, is there anyway to get my DL´s going faster?
you have to leave your downloads open long after they are done. Wait at least until you have shared 1.5 times what you have downloaded. Otherwise the trackers will give your ip less bandwidth.
Ok, thank you. I will, i guess this "new" system takes a while to get completely comfortable with.

Without admin privilages, there isn't much you can do.
That 1.5 rule is not true. I usually finish downloading with a 10-15% share ratio.
I'm not really malicious. I'm a nice guy.

it sometimes does take some time before you start getting fast speed but mine usally get good speed after 10 or 15 minutes.there are alot of factors that canaffect your speed.
Pimpin is easy
I use the shadow client, which is supposed to get a green graphic when downloadings are working i have a yellow graphic yet they are still downloading still very slow. What other factors could come into play?
