All of a sudden when I click to download a file...

..the very moment I click on it, a Download Error message like this pops up:

problem getting response info - [Errno 2] No such file or directory:'C\\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\\Temporary Internet\\Content.ISE\\C5MB0P2Z\\Name%20-%20Season%201%20(Complete)[1].torrent'

I've tried all different types of files on novasearch.net and many other places and I get the same result with everyone. This sucks because when this started I was trying to resume downloading a file that I had been working on for weeks and was 97% complete

Anybody know what could be wrong here?

This happens to me every single time, although after I click ok on the error, my torrent downloader pops-up and starts its business, theres no harm done on mine.

Maybe you don't have a torrent app installed? Or don't have a torrent app associated with .torrent files?
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

    ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
    AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
    Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
    Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1
    Upgraded to 2GB RAM.

I've had errors similar to this when starting up downloads, though I always save the torrent file to a directory first, then attempt download by opening the file with my browser (in this case, IE).

If you just click on it, IE saves it to that temporary location, and there is obviously some sort of problem (of which a techy or other will probably have an answer for).

You could also try using a different browser and/or BT client.

Hey Ken that saving the torrent file to the directory trick worked! Thanks alot.

Oh, and hawkburn, that happens to me alot during the downloading of the file, but it would always do like you said and continue downloading after I click on it. dunno what thats all about, but it gets annoying because I can never leave it going over night, because they pop up every now and then and hault the download.

Thanks you guys for the help!
