MS-DOS Project

Forced to do a project at school about examples of real life
applications of MS-DOS robotics systems and telemetry,
real time controlling and directives.

Been looking for stuff so long, Im going to go crazy.

I thought everyone uses Linux for that kind of stuff, anyway anyone have any ideas on where to start looking or perhaps some useful links to search engine results?

Linux is embedded in networking products like routers but seems to have a small share of the automation market. Thats mostly DOS and proprietary hard-real-tiem OS's like QNX.

Unfortunately it seems as if it has gone completely undocumented.
