Error- Check your pif file

i downloaded a popular racing game,,,hmm with monaco circuit....

and i cant install it, i am getting the following error, check your pif file..

i tried the compatibility mode - tried runnign under 95 and also 98 but same error.

help

Have you look at the .pif file. The path could be wrong, open it and tell it to goto that location of the file it looking for. In the old days of Windows 3.x they had those file so that Windows could run the DOS file and knew how to handle it. If that doesn't work rename setup.pif to setup.tmp and then run setup.exe.
