    Empire poker adware!

Has anyone ever had this (Empire poker adware) on thier computers? I have tried adware, spybot, and have spywareblaster installed, but it will not go away!

Damn thing really messed up my popups, even if i reinstall IE, it wont go away.

If anyone knows how to get rid of this adware maunally, please post how. Thanks!

have you tried goin to your control panel and open add/remove programs. see if its there. if its not then.... well i dont know. but i have been in the same position you were in but it was from Casalemedia and they were a pain in the ass. i would get pop ups even with popup stoppers.

or you can try goin to freedomlist.com/forum

Siskabush, you might consider trying Mozilla Firebird. It has a built in pop up blocker and I never get these pop ups. I have gotten them before using Internet Explorer and they are annoying as hell. The other thing I suggest you try is go to Internet Explorer -Tools-Internet Options and either delete all cookies or go to Settings- View Files and delete all cookies you don't want to keep . You would be surprised how many cookies are stored there and my guess is the empire poker one is there possibly more than once. Good luck and death to pop-ups and the slime that push them.

try either no adware or highjack this. Those will clean the registry of spyware files. Another idea is go into spybot, sometimes those adware give registry values.
Go to run and open your regisrty and do a search of the spyware name
if anything comes up, delete it, but becareful because you dont want to delete anyting thats important
another idea is the new systemworks 2004 has a built in spyware remover
it got found stuff that my other spyware programs missed
