Spyware and adware all the same. Imagine this story, im sure there's people out there with this exact same story. The best file sharing program well with the most users is kazaa right. Install that puppy and lets say you want to share some funny personal videos and you want to encode it using DIVX 5. install that. But wait there is a "free", adware and pro codec. What to do. I picked adware, i had to i had no choice. Then downloaded ad-aware and bang detected a whole bunch of spy files.What the heck. Are you sure you want to delete these files.YES All the software has gone down the crappers. We need napster. No more headaches. With the encoding part Use Xvid codec as good. P2P is the best so is Open Source. Damn i hate when i rumble on like this. stop stop please stop me.......

you didn't have to get the spyware version of divx5 there's an alternate version w/o it.
Yeah i hate ads too but that's the way everything is nowadays, nothing is the way it seems, everything always has a trick, you always have to take a second look, some backdoor or unknown feature, don't know if it it's good or bad but it makes ppl uncomfortable, you can't have activex enabled,java,cookies,etc. cause someone will always try to make use of that...
When everything seems like beeing too good it probably isn't or if it is it won't last too much, that's a lesson the Net teaches us everyday. I guess it's up to us to change it, make it free again and restore power to the people... not to some fat bastard who doesn't give a fuck about your ass, eating chocolates and going to fancy parties all day...
