    Reading an EBook

I've DL'd my first EBook. What do I do to read it? I've prepared a folder in which to place it.

    You probably need Adobe Acrobat.

After you have instaled acrobat reader, you should be able to just open the file.

what is the extension on the ebook you have? some are .pdf which is what adobe acrobat works with and some are .html , which means you can view it with your web broswer.

I'm such a dodo! I always seem to freeze when I bump into anything new, lose my mind, and become deaf and dumb. It's just a simple .zip file. If I still need help with that (and I don't), I'll just quit using a computer. Sorry guys!!

get a copy of winrar or winzip. actually newer windows should open it as well. just double click on it and save contents to the folder you want. if it doesn't open get a copy of winzip or winrar.
Or better yet, someone point her to a freeware utility that does the job. Sorry I gotta run or I would. lol
