i've been having the same problem for a year now. cheapprick's advice didn't help my internet explorer, but thanks anyways. i only use IE because flashget has a plug-in for IE that i need to use. it's right-clicking on "download all by flashget"
I hear ya. Though I don't use IE for the flashget, I use it because.i only use IE because flashget has a plug-in for IE that i need to use. it's right-clicking on "download all by flashget"
A. I like the way it renders certain pages, which Mozilla displays crappy (nothing you can do about, but hey, it's a reason).
B. The 2.x series of AdShield is only compatible with IE. I have yet to find anything that can do specifically what AdShield can do. Mozilla can "block all images from a server", but that doesn't even seem to work for me, and poses the question, what if I want to selectively block, a specific graphic on a web server from being displayed? AdShield lets you get as specific as you want with URLs (not too mention, you can edit the URLs).
Most importantly of all, Adshield is an IE plug-in (it's just a .dll). No external program to load, and clutter my tray. No messing with complicated shit, like proximitron, or something of that nature.
So you can see that my attachment to IE is Adshield mostly.
You can't triple stamp a double stamp.
If you follow the other link (to MS), they list a few alternatives that they say will work if the original command parameter doesn't. Give each of them a try, checking in between each attempt if it is now working.Originally Posted by Spencer45317
Personally. if I click 'new window', I get an exact duplicate of whatever my active screen is, but these are what MS suggests.
There is something very similar for Firebird called AdBlock. It is an extension and is not a separate prog.Originally Posted by Ken17625
Firebird and Mozilla make everything look nice. If it does not, the website is not html compliant and fuck them.
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
Purely the fault of whoever designed the page, not the browser.Originally Posted by Ken17625
I had a similar thing, java wouldn't work either. Just uninstalled ie6 and reinstalled it, setup file was still in windows folder, otherwise i think you'd just get it from windows update.Originally Posted by DevilMind
