    Dvd copying question

    hey i have a question since i'll soon be buying a dvd burner, i have heard that dvd copying programs only let you copy from the original dvd. is this true? is there a way to bypass this?

    There are ways around the copy protection. Try AnyDVD.

    I would reccomend that you run a search for dvd hacks already on the burner....... there are a series of #'s and codes that you can program into a dvd burner so that the burner will lose it's regionalism/macrovision therefor allowing you to burn copywritten material..... then no it wouldnt matter if it was an original or not.

    No, you don't need a firmware hack or whatever the hell you're talking about.

    AnyDVD takes care of CSS, region codes, and Macrovision.
