New news comments

I can't see all the comments and my comments get cut off after a sentence or two! The colored bars make it hard to read. I like the old style better.

Yes I agree and the old style worked fine but if we are gonna use this style from now on there is a few things I would like to see changed. For one thing fixing the bug where the sentences get cut off of course...that is a no brainer.

But I don't like the idea where you can't see all the comments directly...you have to click view thread. I think you should be able to see every single comment and if its in reply to a a thread thats already a part of another thread just ident it a little more. To see what I mean check out the way www.neowin.net does it...something like that. Also maybe it would be nice to have them in order of date by default.

The best for the site would be a set of alternative stylesheets like many other sites offer. You can never please everyone with one look. Offer five, and everyone will be somewhat happy. I love to be able to switch to an alternate stylesheet in Firebird - it's one of those little additions to a web browser that just give it the edge.

wtf is the feature where u go to that thread crap?

if the news article is one, why in the hell would u combine a new thread option in that news comment feature.

I agree... it sucks ass.

I was going to comment on the testing page, but it was closed. This is horrible. What exactly are we agreeing or disagreeing with? Just go back to the other version of comments... they were easy to read and suited the news.

The new coment system is a bitch to navigtate with a screen reader.
And yeah, if your gonna have threds in comment systems, set it up like the
www.radio-info.com
boards, does for all there forums, in other words, scrap it, and go back to how it was before, what was the huge problem anyway with that lay out? I was not happy at first with the boards upgrade a few months back, but I got used to it, the comment's system is to conversom to get used to, I'm not finding it any easier after seeing it a few times, it's just anoying.
