    To tell you the truth, only the 32 bit Windows can be infected with this virus. People who are running Windows 3.x or older version aren't effected by this. OS/2 and some other less know OS can't get this virus. The only OS that can get this virus is all the Windows that runs in 32 bit mode. It could be that alot of people use it so that why people who make virus don't attack other OS. Even Spyware/adware are Win32 programs only. This isn't to tell everyone to change to Linux, OS/2, Win16( which includes Windows 3.0, Windows 3.1, Windows for work group 3.1, Windows for work group 3.11, Windows NT 3.1 and 3.5 but the last 2 I not sure of but they are 16 bit OS ).

    People create virus for what ever OS that most likely to be used. The new OS is going to have virus no matter what MS does.

    Kinda funny that it is a windows virus that attacks an anti-linux group (SCO). Windows boxes are just collateral damage for the virus.
