I would go with ad-aware and spy-bot. This way you'll cover all your bases.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

    Searchclimbers/Lycos

I downloaded Searchclimbers upgrade and all it does is change my
default MSN Search in the address bar to Lycos. They must have a
deal with Lycos. Commonname.com charges like 500 or 600 for me to
have my comany name in the address bar and Searchclimbers gives this away for free. There belief is Keyword navigation is a cool idea but think it is about a year or 2 behind to deliver a massive amount of traffic. I ran Spyware Search and Destroy and Adaware and searchclimbers keyword upgrade passed the test. I like surfing the
net with keywords in the address bar instead of www. .coms. and the
fact that it is free makes it even better.
