forwarding a Notice to your subscribers may also save them from becoming defendants in future copyright infringement lawsuits.
and they expect to make good on that threat HOW?

Most IP's are dynamic, so saving them up for later investigation will do them no good.

They really sound desperate. It's so fun to watch them squirm.

They sound so desperate I feel sorry for them. For some reason it is giving me this uncontrollable twitching. Oh wait - that is me LMAO!
I'm not really malicious. I'm a nice guy.

This does not come as total shock. The ISP companies are aware the p2p is one of the major reasons for ppl to invest in broadband (at least for me anyway). They might not be saying it ouy loud but p2p is good for the ISP business. Giving ppl's info out to the RIAA (or anyone else for that matter) is not a good way to keep your subscribers happy.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
