    I Do

I buy CDs. I was visiting NYC, and I went to the Virgin Megastore (and for those who don't know what that is, it's the biggest CD store in America) and I spent $107.00 on CD's.. lol.. even though I do have a burner, it was just I havn't bought a cd in 1 yr. so I thought I'd better help out the music industry.. lol

I don't buy music from stores here, since they usually don't have what I'm looking for. I also hear that the post people in Germany do a horrible job, so I don't trust them. It's hard for me to find reliable and safe places to order from, so I just get my goods for free and burn them to CD-R.

    cds

i've gotten a bunch of CD-Rs that'sabout it. Cds are too expensive and it's rare thata solid CD hits shelves that u can listen to all the way through. Most of the pop crap that is released hasa very limited shelf life and one or two hits. I'd rather pick and choose what i get then burn a mix to Cd.

    seldom but yes

There are a few bands that I have followed for years that I support. I will sometimes find stuff for sale in the BMG or Play cataloge (last month I bought the Radiohead collection for under 20 bucks-havn't paid for it yet). When I go to San Diego I always go up the beach to Lou's they have a unbelievable collection. When I go to Austin I go to Waterloo, ditto with a ton of Texas bands. Sometimes I go to record conventions that are set up in hotel rooms. I can usually find something that makes me smile. However burners rule.

I buy CDs, but only ones that I think are high quality. Oh btw the Virgin Recordstore is a pretty nice place to go :;). Some CDs that I think deserve my money recently are:

The Hives - Veni, Vidi, Viscious
Dave Matthews Band - Busted Stuff
    Bruce Springsteen - The Rising
    The Vines - Highly Evolved
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way

    Thumbs up I do

I definitely still buy CDs. I've always been a music collector instead of movies. The only thing I'd say is that I don't buy as many right now cause my budget is the tightest it has ever been. But I hit the used CD shops and the new artists sales (under $8 at Target, Best Buy, Circuit City) if I see something promising in their Sunday ads.

If I had the cash, I'd still be buying about 20 per month, but mostly used still. :sw

    EminEm

When I was at the Virgin Megastore I bought all the Eminem CDs they had there, and his new CD, the Eminem Show now that was worth the $15.00! I love every song except maybe like 2 or 3.... out of 20.... so 2 or 3 out of 20 isn't bad.. but it's an awsome cd.. you should all buy it. he tells it like it is. lol..:cross

Yeah Eminem's CD is pretty good. The only song I really don't like is Drips. It's just a bad song. What can I say.

I don't think a music cd worth $15-$20 (on the other hand DVDs are) so I stopped bying cds until the big record companies who are making millions charging for these cds will realize that an audio cd should not cost more than $10. Until then I'll download the music
