OK you need to realize the difference... the .wsx server lists are for OpenNap, which WinMX has support for. WinMX also uses its own network as default, but you can also put in the wsx server list so you can search OpenNap servers. They're often hard to connect to, often full, and often slow. Napster was the only truely perfect OpenNap server. Find a wsx file that many users have, or just try different ones. Good luck, and welcome to ZeroPaid.
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

    ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
    AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
    Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
    Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1
    Upgraded to 2GB RAM.

I've found that OpenNap servers can be a lot more quicker than the wpnp itself. you just need to find the right servers, a good many are useless.

go here and get the program that can make a spiffy wsx file for you. after it updates your file, you can keep the program open so you can figure out which servers have the most files or users. then you can connect to the best servers.

WOW, that tool is so awsome, it lets me choose the best servers with most users (just like you said). and export it so i can import it into winmx. only problem i find it that MANY of them are FULL and i cannot connect. Also not even half of the list connects.

thank you so much Caitlyn Marble .

Understood, but you are missed here. The quick reply box showed up when the forum software was upgraded.
