Does Gnutella Hurt there Cleints

I've Notice something that the top 2 Programs (as of August-14)
of Zeropaid are Gnutella But people seem to like Kazaa Lite more becouse it is on FastTrack I've also Notice that FastTrack is alot faster and alot more search results but the Programs for FastTrack are really boring there is not that much to do (Plain) so all these good looking programs (Shareaza,Ares,I think Gnucleus is on Gnutella,Morpheus) are not really that good becouse there on the gnutella.Maybe when someone makes a new program they should try a diffrent Network Not Gnutella

Fasttrack is a propierty network and unless you want to license it from Sharman or whoever owns the network then you cant use the network.. Which is why its not appealing to new programmers. Also if it wasnt for morpheous who pretty much forced alot of people from open nap onto fasttrack then it would have never became popular IMHO.

Gnutella however is.. Because alot of changes have been made to made the network better, its a open network and documentation is easily avaible.

The only other option is to start your own network which puts that program at a serve disadvantage in that they have nothing to start with on the network that would appeal to get people to use that program..

Gnutella has improved dramatically. Just think of what it was even a few months ago. It has a bit of potential left.

I find the programs boring to use too. All except for Direct Connect, which has the main chat window to distract you, if you wait for your downloads.

Not possible on Kazaa, imagine a chat room with 2 million people. Wow, you would have to read fast!

i think a chat room for kazaa is a god idea. u wouldnt need one room tho. u could have like separate rooms to go to.
