    Anonymous Users on Blubster

    Hi people,

I've just noticed that the majority of users uploading from me on the MP2P network are "anonymous".

I'm using clean blubster 2.50 and I'm wondering if its possible for me to not display my username when i'm downloading from others. I have "explore shared files" turned off so people can browse my shared folder - does this make me anonymous??

I cant find anything else in the settings which looks like it gives me the option to hide my ID.

a user's name bieng anon on the mp2p network simply means that during the installtion or suring the course of the use of the software the end user never bothered to enter anything but what is defaultly put "anon". Just delete whatever user name you have in right now and it should defautly go back to the "anon" user name. Keep in mind that by leaving it as "anon" aids you in no way more than if I would put my username as I*uckinghatetheriaa lol. Just for looks I could say. Disabling the capablility for others to list you're shared files helps a bunch but remember NOTHING is purely safe only some thing but in the case of p2p keep you're eyes open :)
