    Unhappy shareaza help!!!

    hey i have a problem!!! no matter what i do on shareaza i get super SLOW download speeds!!!!! :fire idk wat to do and also it doesnt connect to the edonkey2k server!! help plz!!!! (i have a 2meg cable modem)

    also i have used shareaza in the past with an old computer and it worked great

    Well There isn't any speed up tools and If you are connected to edonkey, be sure to only connect to g2 as the download speeds on ed2k is horrid. And make sure you only download from sources in the same network as your connected to so you don't download from ed2k people.

    ok thank you i heard i have to do something liek port fowarding because of my firewall i am wondering how i do that...........on the shareaza forums it said that that also casuses slow download speeds im gettin like 30 sources but still a speed of .05 kb/s

    lol i keep forgetting stuff also i am bhind a router also lol and wat does it mean when it says on search that there were some results but they were filtered out

    Means your firewalled. So no matter what p2p/file sharing application you use you wont be able to download as fast because its impossible for two firewalled computers to download from one another.

    The only way to fix that would be to open the firewall on the p2p ports of the programs you use. Either that or disabling your firewall which wouldnt be a smart thing to do.
