in which countries does the riaa situate? is it only America? and does America = the US only, because America actually refers to north, south and of course central america? i ask this because i am a Canadian citizen. i really am not worried about the riaa, no chance they ever catch me, but im just curious. thanks.

They cover the whole globe, just call them by different names.. They all set up to monitor and control piracy and stuff on other parts of the world.. And they feel its mostly american music being stolen :P~

The RIAA's FUD tactics have been somewhat sucessful, if nothing else.
They have succeeded in putting the fear of litigation into some previous or would-be file sharers.
Kazaa is not the network it once was.
