    Unhappy winmx upload speed problem...

i have problems with my upload speed on winmx... it only goes to about 30 kb/s and then stops. I don't have any upload limit and my connection speed is about 6Mbit/s (T1). I also use direct connect and there the uploads work fine with speeds up to 100-250 Kb/s sometimes, does anyone know any solution for this problem? in addition, how to view the ul & dl IP on winmx?

Need some info first. Are you using primary or secondary connection on whenMX? With your connection speed you should try primary. On a secondary connection, you might be limited by nodes your hooking up with. Primary will cut into your upload b/w some, but you shouldn't notice much considering your connection speed. I have to use secondary and sometimes my upload speeds are truelly shite. Also check your options to see if you have your uploads throttled. I dougt you do but check it anyways.

i'm using primary connection. although the speed is fast than secondary connection, the ul speed is always very slow (below 30kbs, both local & overseas).....

You wish to view ip addresses of people downloading from you? Get WinMx Connection Viewer. Search files under exe or all files under the name...WinMx Connection Viewer and you'll find it. Enjoy. Also....if you are firewalled, use secondary.in fact when you downloaded the Winmx program it would have searched and found the best connection for you, either primary or secondary. Do not change this setting.

    Winmx user

I post a problem I 'm having finding winmx.com site to download that program.

Winmx beta verison is all I can find at it' s not connecting for me never has worked
on my old computer. For some reason my browser is saying that it can't flind
winmx.com web page. Ive use winmx in the past with problems, but recently
it' wouldn't connect so I delete it for a reinstall.

Can you offer sites that I might find it , with out having to register to "download' it .
wonder if adding a link here for me ?

    thank you , Summer

the winMX peercashes are down, try another peer2peer program like
    http://www.aresgalaxy.org
if you were there for the community, or if you just want music
    http://www.limewire.com
or if you hate java but still want music
