    Bringing Back SEINFELD???

Theres a website with a poll to bring back the Seinfeld TV show. Personally, i think it was a dirty shame that the show was cancelled and i'd love to see new episodes again.

The Website I found is here

I dont think the show was cancelled, I think like friends they wanted a million an episode or some other ludacris amount and they didn't get it. But not too sure about that. But it definitly wasn't cancelled because it was very very popular.

No, the problem was that Jerry Seinfeld was tired of it. He said it was gonna be over, they offered him an astronomical amount and he still said no. Don't you remember that episode of Celebrity Deathmatch?

Seinfeld himself decided to bow out while the show was still hot--he had nothing left to prove, and didn't want to grind the concept out to the last drop and beyond like so many other hit TV shows. Look at some other shows that had great runs but didn't know when to quit--M*A*S*H* comes to mind, Laverne and Shirley, the Fonzie Show (um I meant to say Happy Days), Married With Children, Frazier (stopped being funny after Niles started putting the wood to Daphne, lucky bastard), who remembers Archie Bunker's Place? The list could go on and on... (I used to watch a lot more sitcom TV back in the day than I do now.)

And that idiotic Friends dosn't even count--monkeys randomly hitting keys on typewriters write those scripts.

I would be surprised if JS ever did another TV program. The potential failure factor is too high for him to risk it. He will just do occassional stand-up, like he does now, and reap more millions from syndication.

Yup he killed it on a 'high note' of sorts. They probably knew it was bound to die/rehash/ect sooner then later. I could care less...funny ass show that lasted 9 seasons..thats enough.

As to Niles putting the wood to Daphne...well if it was in fact true I'd agree. Ain't that dude gay in real life though (same with that 'bulldog' guy I think)? Fucking waste if ya ask me...even for a TV show. British accents and girlishly sized breasts make my day. lmfao

i never liked it. imo, it was too much like 'friends' or whatever... it was more annoying than comical or interesting.

The show I'd like to see back is Family Guy and the rumors persist about it coming back late next year.

The main thing that pisses me off with the ending of Seinfeld is the final episode, it absolutely sucked! Monkies could of done a better job.

yeah i definatly thought the final episode of seinfeld was dumb, i heard somewhere that they had like 10 different scripts for the final episode and they were all better.

it wasn't cancelled and I was rather impressed with Jerry and the rest for deciding to bow out on top rather than milking it for all it was worth. Some of the reruns still make me laugh, but I try not to watch so much TV anyway nowadays, it's too much of a time killer for me

I just read where there is either a DVD compilation or a TV special coming out and Julia Dreyfuss and Jason Alexander refused to be on it due to the fact they felt they should be getting more than a Union appearance fee. It seems there is some animosity there.
Michael Richards agreed to appear though.

Curb Your Enthusiasm starts its fourth season on the fourth of January...

Larry David written, produced and directed. this is what Seinfeld should have been. Angry, hilarious and with the use of the word "fuck."
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."

I loved the show when it was running I found it to be quite hilarious and entertaining. it wouldn't hurt eitherway if it never came back or was decided to be re-brought into the light. Some things are just best left at what they had initially finished as other had stated jerry ended the show in a very good way when he the show was on top of the tv ratings/popularity. I would love to see it come back or never come back I will own all of the episodes eventually and that is for shure :)

Seinfeld had an annoying/funny thing about it.

Unfortunately, the annoying side won via landslide. It had a few moments, but that was it.

They all went on their own TV show, and they all failed miserable.. Together they was great, and it was funny.. IT did take two years before it got great ratings in the network.. THey gave it time to grow.. I thought kramer really made the show =) If they bring it back, theres not much more theey can do unless they reinvent things and not repeat same scenerios.. look at Frasier, that show lost its edge and should of ended when niles got married to dafney.
