HELP: Weird File

Hi
i downloaded its a .EXE
but if i execute it it aperars like a DOS window and closes inmediatly
dunno what to do to make it work

Can Someone Help Me?

i remember downloadig warcarf 3 - 2 times different files
both with the same problem

they had lots of sources

Firstly read the rules.

You have virus scanned this file right?
Running exe's file file sharing services carrys a level of risk, a big risk if it came from kazaa.

Open a DOS box, change to the directory the file is in and run it from there, if it produces an error message you may be able to read it.

3 files with the same problem??

That sounds like a crack for vc.exe
so i would go and download a new one from a verified link there so much better

It's DEFINITELY not a corrupted version of the game. Starting with KaZaZ, many of the more popular P2P networks have become flooded with these fakes which many believe are not 'viruses', but actually installing backdoor software on your system. The reason they are so large is to fool the victim into thinking they are real.

Delete it, and never download a 100 meg exe again, unless it is from a reputable source.

Here's a great solution that I do will ALL of my games:

Go to the store, and buy it!

And take the file name out of your post, or this'll get deleted. Also, make sure it isnt name GAME.rar.exe - if it is, rename it to GAME.rar
