As far as I know there's no installer package for mozilla firebird. I just unzip the file and move it to my preferred directory than create a shortcut on the desktop (or wherever it's most convenient). Have fun with those extensions.

That's too bad, Mozilla has improved since then. Mozilla Firebird 0.7 is excellent.

I would love to switch to Moz/Firebird, except that I can't figure out a way to sort my IE faves alphabetically, folders first. IE...

    Folders A - Z then....
    individual bookmarks A - Z

Moz always just sorts straight alphabetically, which is annoying.

I don't get what you mean. You just said that Firebird does what you want it to do? Please clarify. The bookmarks manager can sort 10 different ways with its "view" command.

Anyway. Gotta show off my Firebird pride.

    I like that picture neoufo51.

Put it on the latest one is very good to use. I would have put on my notebook but it require a minium of Windows 98 and my notebook only has Windows 95 V4.0.95b on it with 24 MB of memory on a 80486 DX4 75 CPU. I know this would work on my secondary desktop, Pentium 1 200 with MMX with Windows 98 & Windows 2000 with 98 MB of memory.

Firebird's bookmarks work just like IE's favorites - you can drag and drop them in the order you like best. You can't move folders directly in the menus, but in the "Bookmarks Manager" window everything works fine.
