chat wont connect

i used to be able to connect with chat with no problem now when i try to go to a specific room ,it wont let me in and the room name goes up in my window ,also nobody can upload from me.
i updated to the 3.3 version still no luck.
Can annyone help?

that was my initial assumption, just wanted to be sure...

are you behind a router? have you tried reinstalling winmx? primary or secondary connection?

winmx chat with dial up primary connection.i havent tried reinstalling yet,i have ahp pavilion with xp windows ,this problem only started about 3 months ago.but is very annoying any advice would be very useful thanks!
