Can't open "MY MUSIC"

Recently we switched from MSN broadband to SBC (because MSN left the area).
We downloaded REAL ONE in order to watch some sports clips on the homepage. We also ended up with some AOL software. When we try to open MY MUSIC in Roxio to copy it we get a little icon that looks like a mic that just bounces back and forth until the PC freezes up. We have deleted everything for Real One and the AOL . We still can't open MY MUSIC. We tried a system restore. It wouldn't run. We used Quick Clean and it didn't fix it. Any ideas on what to try next? With 35 GBs of music I don't want to be locked out of it.

Have you just tried to open it with Windows/My Computer?

If you still cant access the folder, maybe something got corrupted.
