    Hyperthreading and hardware firewalls.

i am about to buy a Pentium 4 2.6 GHZ With Hyperthreading, 512 ddr ram,80G HD 7200,Ge Force FX 128MB, Win Home/Red hat 9.0 with 17" Flat and widescreen Monitor For 2 Grand$NZ with DVD/CD-Writer Combo Drive AND CD ROM (u figure it out)

    Two big Questions.

    Should I Enable Hyperthreading?
I use P2P, Nero 6 (alot) and Play heaps of old-ish games eg Ghost Recon.
Copying CD. Ripping DVDs Burning VCDs Rendering Video, Playing Music

    Hardware Firewall?
Are They Worth it? Im on Dial up.

    Thanks.

    why not enable hyperthreading? :)

hardware firewall is worth it if you're on broadband, no reason to use them really if you're on dialup.

Do you even know what hyperthreading is? Sorry if I seem to be rude but the answer should be pretty obvious with even basic knowledge of the subject.
