yo, just wanted to ask the masses if they're experiencing the same issues I have. Could it be an RIAA conspiracy.. 8-o ooooh!
Here's the scoop.
usin K-Lite++
Win XP - no mod's just same ol stuff always used to play mp3's using WINAMP
PROBLEM--> files play well for a while.. then turn into this loud dit dit dit static/chirpy kind of thing.. and it's not just like little pieces of data missing..it's a huge part of the song.
In winamp... the file plays... then hits the aforementioned spot and the counter(time) moves back and forth, maybe two seconds or so... then when I move the slider abit.. the sound returns to normal.
I've been a downloader for a long time, and this problem is relatively new. It's not the characteristic missing data..where a file chirps for a few milliseconds or so... this is getting waaay too common with files downloaded in the recent months.
My only other assumption is that the multiple-source downloading feature in K++ is the problem.... but... that's always worked just fine in previous versions.....
so yeah... just for some piece of mind... if anyone else is getting these problems... post something... if our household is the only thing being affected... then it just might be something else.
peace out.
First welcome to Zeropaid, and yes those files are fakes put out there by the RIAA to discourage downloading. there have been many threads about this. i am sure many members will post tips on how to avoid this problem.
