    Standby mode caused by link

I went to utc, clicked a link to their news forum, and my computer went into Standby mode. I wasn't logged in so it was on their ugly default skin for the forums, and every one had a little lock on it, indicating that it was closed. I thought that was weird.

I tried it again, logged in this time first... and it worked fine. But now I'm scared to browse there.

What would make a link like that cause my computer to go into Standby mode??

    And quite annoying too.
    Insert sig image here

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
