www.suprnova.org for your one stop bittorrnet source. Don't personally use any other sites as their all unoriginal and mostly based on the boring bnbt thing!

It's software that has been already pirated and on the internet for people to download.

So i guess it could be any type of software.

if you have shareaza, you can put torrents on them, and it will download the torrents =) and put them in your BT.. I notcied shareaza is awful for downloading bit torrents.. to long queues and problem connecting.
