It seems Fileheaven.org has been down for a few days....any ed2k users know if it is a planned outage or a problem or if it is coming back?

they were having some hosting issues. Possibly that could be the issue. Otherwise I really couldn't tell ya whats wrong.

I've never been there before, but a page is loading, even if only with the small talk forum.

It's loading for me... I think it's one of those "you must register to get access, but its free" sites, but yeah its loading, fast may I imply.

ok this is odd....I still can't access the fileheaven.org
I tried a different browser (no cookie, no auto complete log in)
I tried accessing via a proxy
I cleared my ie6 cache, deleted the fileheaven cookie and tried ie6 again.

Opera reports "could not locate remote server"

IE6 reports " The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing tech..... etc and so on"

btw I am talking about fileheaven.org not fileheaven.com

Anyone have any ideas?

I finally regained access to this site (the best ed2k music site I found) and there is a thread on this subject. The problem is due to the DNS service of my ISP, Blueyonder, and it seems others have the same trouble.

This week I will be mostly learning about the Domain Name System.
