Why bother with freeware editors, this IS a filesharing website you know.

    check www.webattack.com and google...

personally, i would just "buy" acrobat...

if you have a mac running osx, you can make pdf's in jaguar/panther. not sure about 10.0 or 10.1 though.

i think the free version of acrobat you speak of is 'reader', which, as titled, only allows you to read pdf's.

the free version of acrobat, however, doesnt let you edit. efax.com, which allows you to send free faxes, is always sending me free offers for comparable pdfs that you are looking for--they're for windows people, and im on a mac. might sign up for the free fax...

efax.com allows you to receive faxes for free, you have to pay to send them.

Last I checked acrobat doesn't allow you to edit PDF files, only make them. An OCR program like you get with scanners may be more what you need. I remember microsoft was offering one for this purpose, but I have no idea were I saw it.
It looks like pdf995 cost money, but has pdf->HTML.
    Good luck.

I think PDF995 is free as long as you don't mind it opening IE and showing a page from the author's website with a harmless advert on it every time you create or save a PDF file.

It's definitely worth a try in my books.

I stand corrected, although I am still sure that adobe doesn't allow for editing.
