linksys is good, yes. I've used lots of wireless devices and I've found that d-link provides excellent products at low prices. and for expasion, some of their wireless routers and access points can be expanded to add an antenna for extended range. Before you buy, make sure your components, pci cards, pcmcia card, and ap's are all compatible, or they won't work.

If you're new to it, Linksys is a great way to go. In fact, Linksys is a great way to go generally if there's no money factor.

Unfortunately, when I was new to it, I went with Ebuyer Extra Value! It works great now, but setting it up was a bitch!

Little pricey but good choice nevertheless.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
