There are 'special' dc clients that allow you to throttle your bandwith. However, I would not recommend them since a lot of hubs would instantly ban you just for using one. I would, on the other hand, recommend a handy little program called Netlimiter. Netlimiter allows you to control the upload and download speed of any application that accesses the internet. PM me if you need more info.

lmao...i already answered this in your PM...

but yeah, this used to happen to me a lot...and now i use bcdc++ to limit my upload bandwidth just under my cap, and my downloads come in unhindered.

i only connect to my hub with it, so i don't have the problem of being banned...but i do know that most hubs don't like it. i'm not sure if they can detect something such as netlimiter...but it's worth a shot.

Like cpu, I also use bcdc++ to limit my upload. My max upload is 31, but if I cap it just a tiny bit, at 30, it makes a big difference.
Always be nice to those around you. After all, some day you might need CPR.......

No it is not lieing look 8 bits=1 byte. Shareazaa says it is going at 56kb/s (kb=kilobites kB=kilobytes) so that is why to you it is only going a 7 kB/s. it all depends on which unit you are using.
