If it's a zipped file, you have to extract it...do you have winzip? If not, it's a free download: winzip

Ok, this is a good one for me to answer.

Two ways you can go about working with zipped mp3's.

    1) The most obvious. Unzip with a compression utility. If you have XP, unzipping is built in, but if not, here are the 3 best compression utilities in order of my personal preference.
    http://www.7-zip.org
    http://www.winrar.com
    http://www.winzip.com
All handle zip files perfectly, but I like 7-zip the best cuz besides having its superior compression format, it zips 5-10% better than Winzip, PK-Zip or WinRAR

    2) Use foobar2000. The best mp3 player also includes a plugin that will allow you to access mp3's within a zip file. If you encounter such a file, pop it into foobar2000 and it will add all the mp3s to its list and will begin playback immediately. Excellent for the albums out there in RAR or 7-zip format.

    Latest foobar2000 here: http://foobar2000.org/
( The archive/unzip plugin is in the NORMAL installer)

Hmmm. Try extracting the files in WinRar (www.rarlabs.com).

I take it the files extracted are of type Mp3. Try using a different audio player (or tell the error your recieved when you tried to play the file(s)).

No problem. Spread the word. Foobar is great for compressed albums.
