Many of you have lived and lost. It's a part of life. There are times when life gives and there are other times when it takes away, and so you must deal with the pain. Though what was lost is gone forever, it will always live in your heart. This thread was created so that I may mourn the death of my favorite hub. It gave so much to me that I thought it best to ease it's passing by dedicating this post to it. Just know this, you will be missed.

Hubs wiilllllll come and go, depends on the people, later everyone will have 98 percent of what they want and not share or be on as much.. Others will get closed from RIAA busting in.
hmm but if it was a private hub then it would suck. but there are many more hubs i am sure of that you can get into. hell u can even make your own hub and get people you want to join.
It was a private hub. To be honest, I have tried DC before and dismissed it because I couldn't find a decent hub to get into. Then when I tried it again about a month ago I registered to one of those private 100 GB minimun hubs. Great hub, great speed, great variety.
I'm sure there are other good hubs. I'll just keep looking. Oh and thanks Isus, I'll give cpugeniusmv a ring about joining.

Where are these 100GB Minimum hubs that you can register for? I've been wanting to get into a private hub. But I know not how to go about it. I have 300GB of Music, Movies and Software to share. Just noone to share it with:(

My experience in finding private hubs has been hanging out in public ones and making friends here and there. After a while, someone would always end up asking me if wanted to join.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
Can't say that would work much for me, I don't tend to chat much when I'm connected to a hub.
Of topic question, what's the most you guys have seen shared in a hub (Terabytes)

I saw a hub with 144TB, but 90TB of it was from just one guy...
I PM'ed him awhile back and he said it was closed for new members... or at least newbies like me.
DemonusAE: I think there's enough interest here (I've seen other people wanting to get into a ZP hub) maybe you should start ZP hub part 2! I'll join, and I know others here will, but how to keep the cops out....Hmmmm. One idea, we could verify others activities in a public hub before they are accepted into the ZP hub 2...
