Ok im on cable have a router with the correct open ports have software firewall off. I tryed no router no zone alarm and still i get 1.00-4.00 Kb uploads.
Anyone have any ideas why? I run XP pro
i can have 40 uploads but att at 1.00kb's or less
unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it.
your ISP has capped uploads at a low rate because most users don't really need a large upload bandwidth, unless they are p2p filesharing of course.

well that sucks, CALL YOur provider and tell them the uploads your paying for should be more!!

Though i have not used AIm in a while.
try AIM again, and see if you get those speeds.
if you get the fast speeds, then something else is wrong.

What the problem is with some of the current p2p programs, they max-out the number of uploaders and decrease the upload speed per user when it should be the other way around. if your get 40 uploaders at 1kbit/sec then decrease the number of uploaders to 10 and get the up to 4kbits/sec. that would probably be more helpful then trying to max-out the downloaders from your machine. There is also a cap inside the p2p program itself, I'm assuming you've tried it.
