    Unhappy avermedia

I tried to record TV program from a channel using my AverMedia TV Studio. Normally, if you don't change settings, it can record max 1 minute of any program. There is an option to change it telling it to measure megabytes instead of time. After this setting, as soon as I touch the record button, it looses the channel, disturbances appear, and records those. How can I correct this ??

I would try to find another program to view/record tv. I did a quick search on google and found a few programs, most require a payment, but I didn't see anything interesting on the the avermedia website. I sure there are a few programs that can go from tv card to tv card and record shows.

i bought an avermedia tv go series card 3days ago - i installed it on my AMD desktop and found i cannot capture because of DMA (ironic amd is spelled reverse as dma) and it dosent support it .

so basically i need to process my capture in real time using virtualdub

    readmore about it on www.vcdhelp.com
search for virtualdub guides on cature from the site

you can use a divx slow motion codec....or huffyuv codec.....

hope my experience have been of some help

but you can use the remote to control
winamp , windows media player 9. etc
