    Arrow Hi

    hi
    i'm new here. i have been visiting zeropaid and the forums for a long time, but never felt the need to register and join the forum. now i decidet to do that, and just want to say Hi Everyone

    i guess i will start my first question here.

    at my school we have our own username and password to log on the computers, and we have many restrictions. the school uses windows 2000 (not terminal server) . now what i was wondering is: does anyone know what we i can do at school like tricks, hacking (not real hacking just playing) and stuff like that. maybe there is a webpage that does show some thing i can do to f.ex. chat with the other computers in the school (without installing software, something hidden in the windows???), or maybe get admin access (not hacking, just playing). i do not want to destroy the computers, do damage or edit anything (definitive doesnt want to get caught), i just want to find something to do when i am bored.

    i dont know if this is against forum rules, but if it is then tell me and will remove this question.

    Welcome to ZP!

    Isn't there the messenger service in 2000 (like the one in xp)? On our windows 98 machines we use winpopup to talk to each other. We just use our novell network login names and it works.

    Since I have WIN2K at work, I have discovered that you can install both Yahoo and ICQ without Admin access. You can also access AIM Express and utilize it since it is web-based and requires no install. Here's the link:

    http://www.aim.com/get_aim/express/aim_expr.adp?aolp=

    Have fun, but don't neglect your education. Computer antics can become an addiction, as almost anyone here at ZP can attest. Good Luck.

    well some times they cut's of the internet (even in the breakes when there isnt class) and the monitors uses 60mhz refresh rate, thus making it hard to work for a long periode. therefor it would be better to get admin access and change the monitor refresh rate and to open access to the internet. if someone know of a way? (incase i'm not allowed to ask for this then disrecard this question)

    anyway thanks for your help. i cant use any IM service (icq, msn, yahoo etc...) because if they cut of the internet they become useless. anyway i can install software on the pc, but i am not allowed. if they find out i will get in trouble.
    i tried the winpopup but it didnt work. i dont know if windows 2000 has it, atleast the computers on the school doesnt have it. netsend wont work either, i dont know why. by playing aroud i got access to ms-dos shell (although it is by default disablet, just as 'run' is) and found out the computers local ip and tried netsend (to myself), but as i said it didnt work.

    any other tricks hacks... :tilted

    The oldest trick i use to do on MIRC, was the Nuke, you dns their ip, and insert it, it sends packets to the pc til the blue screen of death comes up, they have to reboot and redial in the account. Broadband wasnt popular or and nobody had it.. other wise they could get back on faster=0) I use to do it to chanserv bots to gain access to the channel. Some MIRC servers dont have chanserv.

    If you want to just send random messeges to each other within a network use "netsend", you can use it from RUN or from the command prompt. Unfortunately this option can be easily disabled.

    Note: Using netsend creates a log.

    Second Note: Netsend works with the hostname. Not the ip address ( me thinks anyway )

    Here's a harmless trick

    make a website with the following code. Name the file test.html for example

    Code:
    <html>
    <body onUnload='window.open("test.html","","fullscreen")' scroll="no">
    <table width="100%" height="100%">
    	<tr>
    		<td align="center" valign="middle">
    			<h1><font color="red">Enter randow message here</h1>
    		</td>
    	</tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>

    the way to kill it is to use view source and take out the onUnload.

    One time in webdesign I filled up the shared student drive for the entire district. A message came up on every screen in our school district saying that the drive was running low on space. My teacher just about killed me... (I copied an entire cds worth of pictures to sort and use)

    check out thebroken.org
    for some interesting info on this topic. Unfortunatly I have little else to contribute to this topic but check out their forums. The site is run by "the dark tipper" (Kevin Rose) from Tech Tv.
    there is also kevinrose.com
    but I think it may be down right now.

    thx for welcoming me :)

    both right click and some key combinations on the keybord is disablet. it's very hard to work with just 60mhz refresh rate on the screen (and the admin doesnt see that as a problem) the day of glory will be the day i get admin access :shy

    great trick fernandez. is it by any chance possible to stop it if it is launched from a website?
