HELP with ADSL router/modem
Hi, just got a Dynalink ADSL Router/Modem. Want to ask some advice please, as the two manuals that came with the modem have conflicting instructions. One says 'never connect the adsl router through a microfilter'. The other says to use either the microfilter, or direct connect to the jack point. Which option should I use, please? Also, should I connect using the ethernet port or the usb port? Thanks for any help in advance.

I would say use the ethernet port. Its plug and go, no need to worry about modem software. Plus, you're connected to a network hub now, and better yet! you don't have to take up a usb slot...you've allready got the LAN card there, why not use it.
