    • Try burning it anyways, "maybe" it will fit ...
    • If it is a movie, try editing some parts, cut the credits or something
    • Split it the file in 2, use WinRAR
    • Get DVD-R, you'll have enough space, believe me !

That happens to me a lot, and usually I find that the credits have already been edited out or they have something important behind them such as bloopers. I usually just zip the files (as mentioned above) and burn them on a CD. But unless you have a fast computer (atleast 900 mhz or 40x cd rom) it's going to take an awful long time for Windows Media player to load the file if you open straight from the zipped file. Trust me, I've had to do that a lot.

should be able to use overburn for that, only 708mb. D/L NERO CD Speed from nero , it has an option in its extras that can check a cd for how much overburn it is capable of. You do not need Nero to use this program, But I dont know why you wouldnt want too.

Once I Found a 50pk of Memorex where i burned up to 757,455KB (739MB) on 1 80 min CD. Just that one pack though. But the 720MB range isnt unusual to find.(715mb 732,160KB or 749,731,840 bytes.)

    NERO CD Speed

But check each batch of Cds you will find some with impressive capacitys. Some just medoicre. Save the good ones for your really big files.

Also dont know where u live, but I bought 16 99min(850mb) w/jewel cases for $10 at CompUSA. I overburned those too, but not by much.

    thanks for the replies.

all that i needed to do is use the VIDEO CD option on NERO and it saves the file as vcd.

    Nero great software

    thanks again: BloodySabbath

So the actual space on a CD can vary that much?!?!?! Jeeze that's a lot of space considering movie files that are just over the edge. I wonder if that occurs because of factory error or what?
