i´ve just downloaded a mpeg file and its file size is 725,662 kb and i want to burn it to a cd
what can i do?
please help me
As long as its in VCD format, you shouldnt have a problem burning it.... if its not in the correct format then check out VCD Help or Doom 9 for a walkthrough on how to convert it.
Then, assuming that you have Nero and its a VCD, follow this little walkthrough i grabbed from another site:
--Start Nero and the wizard will run.
--Choose COMPILE NEW then OTHER FORMATS then VIDEO CD.
--Drag the MPEG into the compilation window. Nero will check the file to make sure it's the right format.
--Click the burn button and you're done!
(sometimes I get an error or the VCD won't play. Just try burning another one - it usually works the second time. Choosing "Test and Burn" generates less coasters that burning without the test.)
[For you technophiles, the MPEG files must be WhiteBook compliant system streams (i.e. multiplexed, with a video bit rate of 1,151,929.1 bits/sec and an audio bit rate of 224 kbit/sec).]
I intend to live forever. So far so good.
thanks !!! :gj
i indeed have nero but i never tried to use the VIDEO CD option
No problem m8, lemme know if it works for you.

Your VCD's will be at least TWICE the size of the file you are converting so Beware. Nero also has a VCD plug-in you can use.If you ant to rip from the DVD to a VCD direct you can go to my website under the DivX help.

the file i converted was 725,662 kb (original file size) and nero reduce it to 600 - 650 kb., so it worked o.k. and thanks for the link i´ll check it outOriginally posted by foreverboard Your VCD's will be at least TWICE the size of the file you are converting so Beware.
