    Windows 2000/Printshop 11

I'm trying to run printshop 11 on a school computer as a non-administrator, however...i get a runtime error. at the broderbund site, it says that i must be logged in as administrator to install and run printshop. so i do the shift-right click thing, and run as administrator...

    my question:

is there any way to save that password so that the teacher i'm doing this for doesn't need to know the administrator password, and i don't have to go in and type it every time she wants to use print shop?

you always come up with the toughest questions.

    stoppit.

    to answer your question:
i'm using xp, and i'm not seeing any way to do it that doesn't involve making her (the teacher's) account an admin account.

but why make software that can only be run as admin... i can understand for some things... but printshop?

    lol, sorry :)

but yeah, i think the only thing i can do is make the teacher an admin...and i doubt i'm allowed to do that.

don't tell her, don't tell anybody.

if your school's tech admins are as bad as ours, they will never notice.

    sad, yes.
    useful, yes.

    :-P

despite the fact that none of our school's macs should be running osx, i was able to load jaguar onto my dad's (he works for the school i go to. useful whenever i feel like skipping class) and keep it for about 6 months. and then when they had to upgrade filemaker pro on os9, they were like "oh, we don't care".
