When I download stuff off of anything on the net, the speed goes at like 80k for p2p for a while then it just drops to 10k then goes back up for a bit.
I installed winxp on a new harddrive and can't figure out what's doing it.
I also installed a windows 2000 nic card driver, since the one I used before was win98driver, which I used on xp when I upgrade to xp.
Anyone have this prob?
Well if your talking about kazaa lite, then everyones downloading rate goes up high and then drops and goes back up. It depends how many users you are downloading from.
and if you're on cable, it depends on what your neighbors are up to.
on a cable network, you all share the same bandwidth.

It also happens on internet explorer. I used earthlink DSL.
