    Recording..

I was wondering if anyone knew of any programs for recording sounds off the mic, kinda like the standard windows sound recorder. But I'm looking for something that lets you record longer than just a minute, maybe some good effects wouldn't be to bad either, there's gotta be something out there...

GoldWave used to be a free program, i don't know if they do a trial thing know. But for Sound Recording and editing i use Cool Edit Pro (a little old but useful).

The best non pro software is jetaudio allows multiple inputs, mixing cross fading fx etcetc, go bag a copy (rember dont download a copy with the crack or serial number off of a p2p program as that would be illegal ) ;)
