i have a mpg file that is too big to burn to one cdd.is there a software i can download to split the video into two exact parts, putting the first have on one cd and the second on another cd?
There are plenty of good file spliters around, alot of them specialize in video splitting. I found some no-name "avi splitter" on emule and it works great (has no official company name). try doing a search on kazaa, emule, or Google. you could also try encoding it into avi format with virtual dub.

Back from a long break and it seems I'm missing some posts.
I use TMPGEnc, it has one of the best Mpeg engine around. You can also find it on p2p networks!
This one is not a multi-functional as Virtualdub and TMPGEnc but it does the job fairly good. It's not very difficult to find either. ;-)

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
