Oh man, I almost forgot about that. My wife watches that channel a lot. I've seen a lot of commercials for this. It looks like it might be good.

That's cool too. In the movie "Let It Be" you can hear these songs without all of the over-production also. btw The vcr is ready and waiting for the Paul McCartney show. If you have not guessed by now, I'm a big Beatles fan!!

Yeah I heard of that album coming out. Not sure what its gonna be called but they referred to it as Bare Let it Be. The albums without studio production just straight recording of the band.

I also just saw a Jimi Hendrix first album with same idea on my favorite file sharing network. Basicly all his takes of the songs on the first album.

It's supposed to be coming out on dvd. I have an order with Amazon for it. They are giong to notify me when it comes out. Any other format, I don't know. As far as plot goes, it's not much of a movie. But the music is outstanding.

Yes, I saw it when it was in its original theatrical run, and it was quite a living chronicle of the disintegration of The Beatles.

    Thumbs up

While at work last night I got to catch most of the show on A&E. It was quite touching to see that many people (including Gorby) affected by Pauls music. They panned the audience quite often and you could see they knew the words to his songs. They would flash peace signs and light their lighters. It made me think how people are the same - not different - all over this world. Paul talked about it at one point.
Yes - this was a good thing he did - for everyone.

Well, Koop this is just my opinion. During the collapse of the band they came out with "Abbey Road". Which is the best music they ever made. King of a testement to those guys as musicians, to be able to put aside their differences and produce such a fine piece of work.

Whilst on the subject on Paul, here is a news story about him:

    McCartney publicist sacking 'a joke'
Sir Paul McCartney has told his publicist he was "joking" about sacking him after a row broke out at a visit to the David Blaine stunt.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...iz/3122158.stm

    A fairly amusing story.
