Authorization Required (message given to me)

    Authorization Required
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^thats what I get whenever a login is required on an internet site. I can get into forums and email fine, but the kind that pops up a box asking for my username (from a dropdown list) and a password (with a little key icon next to it) I can't get in, it gives me this error.

Its not just websites though, I can't acess my router. All the other computers work fine, but I changed something months ago, and haven't been able to get in. I'm finally sick of this and don't know whats causing the problem, any help?

    With IE

    under Internet options/security

    click custom level

Is User Authnication(which is the last option) have prompt for username and password checked?

If not then select that and click ok and then try it. You should get a prompt asking for your username and password. Fill it in and if your allowed access then you should be able to access the site. If not then i dunno either your not giving it the right username/password or its not set up right.
