can anyone tell me why i cant seem to connect thru norton firewall. my kazza lite works fine if i turn it off but obviously i dont wanna leave my firewall off , thanx guys oh, also wen i try to connect thru a proxy? it wants the name of hosts? please help

you gotta set up your ports correctly to run through a firewall, ,not sure what the settings are.

look at the faq at www.k-lite.tk

maybe they can give you some advice.

Go into K-Lite options and view the firewall tab.. Look at the incoming connection port number and then go to norton and open that port or click on the use port 80 as alt connection. I'm not sure how norton works but with my zone alarm I put it in learning mode and I'm able to grant programs their own status or "server status."

You may want to be careful which chat rooms you go into with an open port, hackers are very unforgiving, and viruses are even worse. all they need to do is port scan to find an I.P. address, and they will have your computer by the balls.
