Some wierd S**t , Downloading Mp3:s!!

I have seen some problems when I'm download mp3 on Kazza k++, some song like (No file names please. ., and many more ). I can download the files, but when I want to listen to them, the first 10 is ok, but then it only comes noise. I'm sooooooo tierd off it....... What's the problem, is it some copy protection or what. I use winamp, can it be the problem, i dont think so!!

CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN IT FOR ME!!!!!!

That noise you hear is intentionally put there to annoy you and to try and break your will to download. They are actually fake files put there by Riaa contractors and a$$holes. No copy protection, just intentional crap.. Do a forum search for "fake files"

Download High Sourced Files and Delete the one you just downloaded.

Or better yet just use a different program. The RIAA seems to be focusing these fakes on Kazaa so use Blubster or WinMX for music instead. I haven't downloaded a single fake from Blubster.

another thing you could do is search for higher quality songs, they only incode fake files from the riaa up to 192kbps, so if you search for 224kbps in kazaalite by going to audio, more, then checking quality, then setting at least 224kbps, as of right now, no fakes.

make sure you delete those bogus files and don't share them with others.

the problem with that is that now it is harder and harder to find a real file. Just search for higher bit rates. ALso when you search, usualley the fake is the file with the most users, not always.

I use KaZaa as well still... I found the same thing starting with music dated 2003 or later. Sure is the shittiest noise I've ever heard too...OWWWW! But anyway, now I just dl 5 of the highest sourced files out there and you will find one that works. Gotta work just a little harder now, but it's still free, so it's worth the extra effort.

Like everybody says, I quickly delete any noisy song but I've found many examples where the highest sourced song is the fake one!:cross

I downloaded WinMx and and the files works perfect........

the problem is that the fake files are spreading really fast
and many of the kazza users I think dont know what's the problem is, that's a pity cuz now those fake files are the ones with most users.

Well, I've deleted the fake riaa ones, they are playing relly ruff now, but i hope we'll show them that's its useless going down that road, cuz we'll only change street and keep playing our game!!!

could someone tell by looking at the filename if it's fake? [ie-in your shared folder?] would that particular file have distorted playback on everyone's machine? how can you pick out a fake file in your shared folder?

The real problem, the people who dont want to be on kazaa right now with the lawsuits, took their high quality mp3s off the market.. so basically your gonnna see alot of porn, alot of fake files, and alll we can do is wait to this blows over.

I don't understand this about fake files! don't you preview the song in the Preview first, I'm very fussy and will delete if I don't like the way it was encoded or even just the way it sounds. I often find myself downloading about 8 copies of one song just so I can get the perfect one.
And do these fake files include looped chorus, hasn't happenned to me but I've heard about it, one mp3 was just a chorus repeated over and over. Kinda funny really.

You can preview, but if you run on high internet connections and download like mad. You won't want to sit on your computer for every minute you download. I used to leave my computer on 24/7 and time I got home from college (5pm) I'm ready to burn 2-3 CDRs :devil
